Buhid women wear woven black and white brassiers called linagmom and a black skirt called abol. Unmarried women wear body ornaments such as a braided nito belt (lutas), blue thread earrings, beaded headband (sangbaw), beaded bracelet (uksong), and beaded long necklace (siwayang or ugot).

Ramit is a textile made by the Buhid and Hanunuo Mangyans. Traditionally worn as skirt.

My reflection on Buhid. Mangyan, they are incerdibly amazing people. Aside from being pot makers, were Alangan and Hanunuo, used to bury their cooking pots from the Buhids. I have also learned that Buhid is a Philippine language spoken by the Mangyan people on  the island of Mindoro, mainly in Mindoro Occidental and Mindoro Oriental provinces. The buhids are traditionally mountain dwellers, they survive in the highlands.

MY INTRAMS JOURNAL

Intramurals isn't really my thing. Back then, I would just watch my classmates play while I sit at the sides doing nothing. I was more of a study person rather than a sports person. Games are not my thing and I don't like competition. But all of this changed after I joined the Intramurals 2023 in Asian College of Technology. I joined several games and it made me feel different.  The first game I played for the Intrams was basketball. I am not a good basketball player and my body was not expecting the exhaustion after the game. It was a sport made me feel like all the air in my lungs were gone. Despite the consequences of the game, we won the first round and it made me feel good. Winning makes me feel good and it just got better when I won a match in scrabble the next day of Intrams. I just learned how to play scrabbles and I was definitely not expecting to win a match. I was so happy when I won. Though not every time I get to win, there were a few losses but it's ok. It'

Gender Equality

  Gender equality is a right every women have been fighting for. It's because women have fewer rights than men and unfair treatment from the public or society. As time progresses, more sexualities have been discovered and have been open with it. It's not a bad thing to be open with your sexuality, in fact, it feels like a burden has been lifted off of your shoulders since you don't have to hide it anymore. Many people get harassed because of their gender or sexuality, some get depressed because they feel like an alien among their peers and it is because some people are not educated about this. Every community or person should make a queer person feel comfortable, safe and protected. That also applies to women, who fear going out at night or be conscious of their clothing because of obvious reasons. These individuals or everyone should feel safe at schools, malls, houses, communities and places that has many people. It's best that kids must learn to treat others equally
