MY FAMILY DAY JOURNAL

 Family Days have always been my favorite event in school. I get to spend time with my family in school, play games together and have fun without worrying about life problems. In this blog, I will share my Family Day Experience Year 2023.


As I enter the school, I could already feel the Family Day feels seeing the people busy preparing for the event. I see my schoolmates wearing their family day shirts and I am beyond excited as we prepare for our dance palabas that is performed on Family Day. After the mass, me and my team mates fixed ourselves for our performance. I had a great time bonding with my team, making jokes, laughing at each other's funny makeup and so on.

Then we got to perform and I was so happy to be able to dance in front of everyone that I felt like our performance was too short and I wanted more. I was glad my family saw me dance in my funny costume and I had a very great time.



 After the event, we got to our car and shared our experiences, thoughts and comments. It was a great time to catch up with each other after a long time of not seeing each other that much. All I can say is, it was an event that I want to experience again and as I reminisce, I miss it alot.

MY INTRAMS JOURNAL

Intramurals isn't really my thing. Back then, I would just watch my classmates play while I sit at the sides doing nothing. I was more of a study person rather than a sports person. Games are not my thing and I don't like competition. But all of this changed after I joined the Intramurals 2023 in Asian College of Technology. I joined several games and it made me feel different.  The first game I played for the Intrams was basketball. I am not a good basketball player and my body was not expecting the exhaustion after the game. It was a sport made me feel like all the air in my lungs were gone. Despite the consequences of the game, we won the first round and it made me feel good. Winning makes me feel good and it just got better when I won a match in scrabble the next day of Intrams. I just learned how to play scrabbles and I was definitely not expecting to win a match. I was so happy when I won. Though not every time I get to win, there were a few losses but it's ok. It'

Gender Equality

  Gender equality is a right every women have been fighting for. It's because women have fewer rights than men and unfair treatment from the public or society. As time progresses, more sexualities have been discovered and have been open with it. It's not a bad thing to be open with your sexuality, in fact, it feels like a burden has been lifted off of your shoulders since you don't have to hide it anymore. Many people get harassed because of their gender or sexuality, some get depressed because they feel like an alien among their peers and it is because some people are not educated about this. Every community or person should make a queer person feel comfortable, safe and protected. That also applies to women, who fear going out at night or be conscious of their clothing because of obvious reasons. These individuals or everyone should feel safe at schools, malls, houses, communities and places that has many people. It's best that kids must learn to treat others equally
